Spreading a little joy at Christmas

For Christmas 2021, Tribal and DDB helped Coles bring separated family and friends together for cracking time with the Virtual Cracker.

When lockdown made it hard for family and friends to get together in a locked-down world, Coles wanted to still make sure we could all share in a Christmas tradtion that is loved across the world.

This mobile experience allowed two people to grab the end of a virtual cracker and crack it no matter where they are in the world. Our Coles cracker brought families and friends together in a Christmas tug of war complete with jokes and an AR hat to share on Social.

Coles partner SecondBite joined the program to ensure those who need help the most also got the benefit of coming together at Christmas.

For every cracker, cracked Coles donated $1 to help feed Aussies up and down the country.
